I didn’t buy the straw. The straw found me. The moment I used it, my life split into two timelines: Before Straw (bleak, primitive) and After Straw (elevated, hydrated, enlightened). Water tasted like it had a purpose. I started bringing it everywhere like it was a tiny glass celebrity. Then my friend came over. They saw it. They asked to try it. I should’ve said no. I knew what would happen. But morality got the better of me. They took one sip… and I watched their soul leave their body the same way mine once had. “I need this,” they said. Need. Not want. Not borrow. Need. So I did the unthinkable. I handed it over like a tragic hero sacrificing everything for the greater good (friendship). After they left, I drank water without it and honestly considered writing a will. But then—salvation. A package arrived. Another straw. Identical. Glorious. I have been restored. My friend has the original. I have my second chance at happiness. 10/10. Would emotionally unravel again.

It’s definitely cute but very difficult to clean with it’s wavy shape. I need to get a more flexible pipe leader to get it oast the first squiggly part. All my standard pipecleaners to clean straws are made of hard metal. If it came with a soft pipe cleaner I would use it more often so it kinda ends up not being used as often.
