Gokou from Kyoto

This is by far the least favorite matcha I've tried & I've gone through 8 tins. I would not repurchase this. It leaves a very drying aftertaste on the tongue & in the mouth. The mineral depth is ever present & probably what contributes to the drying effect. I do regret spending $90 on this.

Not the best flavor

This matcha is so violently green I thought I accidentally made some radioactive potion. Nope. It’s just the best matcha I’ve ever had. The smell? Insane. The taste? Deep…creamy perfection that makes every other matcha taste emotionally unavailable. This is for REAL matcha people. The “if you know you know” crowd. It gives EVERYTHING matcha needs to give…amplified x1000. I’m also not responsible if you sell your car to fund your Rebel Bunny Gokou addiction. That’s your business. But hey, maybe you’ll become a runner and suddenly matcha + running becomes your entire personality 🤷🏻‍♂️ ***Also pro tip before Rebel Bunny legally bans me from the website..get 2 tins + a straw and you unlock the free matcha kit. bold, umami, creamy in a latte. absolutely one of my top favs!

I really how bold and rich it is. The color is so vibrant, you can really taste premium matcha. I love it!I can't wait to try other matcha variants! One of the best!!

Gave it to a girl as a gift, she become a full on rebel bunny junkie, she sold her car, her dog, her company provided laptop. Last I heard she was panhandling for matcha. I miss her.
