Wanderlust
“Oh, this is nutty.” Perhaps the first thought that comes to mind after a sip of Wanderlust.
We are excited to introduce another matcha from Kagoshima, Japan’s largest tea-producing region. Wanderlust is crafted from a single cultivar, Okumidori, grown in Minami-Kyushu City, a city also known for the highly regarded Chiran tea.
As listed on the label, this matcha opens with a pleasant garden pea note. Once whisked, a gentle floral character emerges. Not really sweet, but a little cooler, fresh and delicate, reminiscent of white peony.
Once it meets milk, Wanderlust shows a completely different side. It creates an amazingly rich profile that reminds you of macadamia nuts. It is creamy, it is sweet, and it is everything you might imagine from the kind of nutty matcha latte that so many of you love.
The name Wanderlust was inspired by the vast, open tea fields of Minami-Kyushu. Looking across them makes you want to wander, explore, and perhaps get a little lost. This matcha gives us that same dreamy feeling.
We hope Wanderlust brings you a new little pleasure in your everyday. Because sometimes, a little Wanderlust is exactly what you need.
