Koshun (香駿) is a cultivar developed in Shizuoka, celebrated for its distinctly aromatic profile. The name itself speaks to its origin and character. 香 (ko) meaning “aroma,” and 駿 (shun) referencing Suruga-no-kuni, the historic region of present-day central Shizuoka.

This particular Koshun expresses a delicate and layered fragrance. In its dry form, notes of jasmine and white peach emerge softly. Once whisked, the aroma evolves, revealing a gentle sakura (cherry blossom) leaf nuance, reminiscent of spring, subtle yet evocative.
