They were right when they said this matcha feels like a breath of fresh air. So refreshingly unique. It has a pleasant bitterness balanced by a gentle astringency that's so addictive. The finish is beautifully fruity and floral, lingering on the tongue for awhile long after the last sip. The caffeine content of this one seems higher than most matcha I've tried. I felt a bit jittery after drinking it, which I rarely experience with matcha. Or maybe it was just because my tummy was empty when I had it. always have something to eat first. HAHA! My first tin from Rebel Bunny, and it definitely didn't disappoint.

I expected another great matcha. I didn’t expect one that would completely change my mood. At first sip, Kirari 31 greets you with delicate florals and a whisper of fruit before melting into a naturally sweet, silky finish. It’s the kind of matcha that makes you slow down just to appreciate how different it is. As someone who usually gravitates toward nutty and umami-rich profiles, this felt like opening a window after being in the same cozy room for too long. Familiar enough to feel comforting, yet refreshing enough to make every sip exciting again. Smooth, vibrant, beautifully balanced, and effortlessly elegant—Kirari 31 has earned a permanent place in my rotation.

"Kirari 31 from Shizuoka"
Kirari 31 says floral & fruity; but to me, the florals really stole the show. Delightfully fragrant, softly bold, and just so smooth. And the color? That vibrant green sealed the deal. Bonus, my fiancé picked this one… so yeah, he definitely understood the assignment.

• Flavor Profile: It has a beautiful subtle sweetness with distinct fruity and floral notes. • Milk Pairings: I found that it works exceptionally well with oat milk, and holds up nicely with full cream and soy. However, in my experience, almond milk tended to overpower the delicate notes of the Kirari 31. • Versatility: As a Usucha, it is incredibly easy to drink due to that natural sweetness. As a latte, there is little to no astringency—it’s just remarkably smooth. • Texture & Visuals: It is so easy to whisk! Plus, the color is absolutely stunning. It so vibrant and green.
